    The turning point...

In the summer of 2022, just two days before the Indian Soccer League trials, a curling shot aimed for the top corner of the goal. Determined to stop it, I threw myself and stretched as far as I could... and I saved it. But then, I hit the ground, and pain shot up my ankle. My foot was in the ground, ankle twisted 180 degrees.

I was rushed to the hospital with a broken tibia. People wondered if I would ever walk again, as everything I had worked for was shattered in a moment. Lying in the hospital bed, I felt the titanium rod and nine screws in my ankle—a reminder of my injury.

I spent three months on bed rest, followed by five months of intense physiotherapy. Slowly, I recovered. I remember my first visit back to the football field after eight months of painful rehab and therapy sessions.
